‐ Description / The Zhala Hydroelectric Station is a power station with its power source of radial flow from theZhala mountain area of Burma. It includes the following main parts:
Dam (H= 27.5m ,L= 78.83m ), River Tunnel without pressure (H= 3m ,W= 4m ,L= 15.783m ), Water Gather basin ( Φ = 20m ,H= 9m ) Steel Tube ( Φ = 1.8m ,L= 3.2m ), Power Plant, Transfer Station.
It is a daily adjustable Hydroelectric Station with the nominal head pressure of 504.2m .
Two sets of Pelton water turbine generating units with Capacity 12.5MW/set, Total Capacity 25MW.
Yearly generating capacity (KWH) : 1.44 hundred million
Dry season generating capacity (KWH) : 0.59 hundred million (41%Yearly)
Rainy season generating capacity (KWH) : 0.85 hundred million (59Yearly)
Working Hours of the machine: 6012h
Normal Daily generating capacity (KWH) : 227,000.00
Total investment of The Zhala Hydroelectric Station: 1.4 hundred million
Intended time limit: 2.5 years
